The Cherokee Medical Center pharmacist is actively involved with the medical staff concerning drug information, formulary decision-making, antibiotic review, therapeutic drug monitoring and pharmacokinetic consults.
The Pharmacy Department also works closely with the nursing staff and other allied health care professionals to provide pharmaceutical care to the patient. This includes providing information regarding proper medication administration, adverse reaction education and information about how medications will affect and benefit the patient.
Cherokee Medical Center is NOT a retail pharmacy, and we cannot fill prescriptions and/or sell drugs to an outpatient.
