Home Health Home health care is not an option for everyone. Generally, the person receiving care or treatment at home must be well enough to be cared for in the home setting. |
Being ill is definitely undesirable, but being ill and away from home is even worse. Some patients at Cherokee Medical Center may now actually go home sooner and receive the same professional, high-quality care they need in the comfort of their own home. Home Health enables a whole team of health care professionals, as needed to treat homebound patients without the daily expense of a hospital room. Patients may now have a choice about the level of care they receive and where it is provided.
